Vegan Potluck in DC
As some of you out there may or may not know, the arrival and passing
of Thanksgiving puts us head and shoulders into our second year as a
collective. It's been a wild ride. For starters, we've tripled in size.
It's so remarkable that we've frankly given up on trying to get our
heads around it. We've also built working relationships with some of the District's most challenging social movements , and begun sharing skills with other self-managed workplaces
. In short, we've successfully begun tackling the project of
integrating our day to day work with community-building around a
liberatory reconstructive vision. To celebrate, last week, we hosted
our first annual Vegan Thanksgiving Potluck here in Washington DC; a gathering we fully
intend to repeat. Enclosed is a snapshot of what you missed.
