WHO WE ARE.  a small group of animal lovers providing a common service in an uncommon way.


Since 2006, we've been putting on our rain pants one leg at a time just like employees of any other dog walking agency--except that you won't find any employees around our water cooler


At Brighter Days, we are all co-owners, uniquely invested in our clients and their pets. We don't aspire to be DC's largest or most lucrative pet care company.

WHAT WE DO.


--We all own and run the business, DIY-style, and feet on the street everyday.


--We maintain a strong work ethic: enjoying our jobs, taking pride in our work, and letting our service speak for itself.

--We love DC. Even through sauna-like summers and beautiful snow storms.

HOW WE DO IT.


Our clients can take comfort this fact:

we do what we can to make the task of walking your dog into a socially meaningful endeavor.

We bike instead of drive. We give financial support to local organizations working on the front lines of progressive change. And--maybe; hopefully--we offer an example of workplace democracy that encourages others to take control of their livelihoods.

PRICES.  Our prices pay for full-time, reliable, and professional service. We are insured and are members of NAPPS (the National Association of Proffesional Pet Sitters).
